Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming Galleries

Yellowstone National Park - Week 1 June 2009 : Spending the Season in Yellowstone, we figured it would be too cumbersome to put all the photos in one gallery, so we're going to feature galleries by the week.

This first week brought us some interesting weather with snow and rain mixed between the fluffly clouds and sunshine. You never know what type of weather you're going to get in the National Park, so you just have to be prepaired for every season combined.

If you were to purchase any of these images, the watermark would not be on the print. This is one of our main sources of income and is what keeps us on the road. Feel free to ask if you'd like any specific images converted into Black & White or customized for you.

Yellowstone National Park - Week 2 June 2009 : Spending the Season in Yellowstone, we figured it would be too cumbersome to put all the photos in one gallery, so we're going to feature galleries by the week.

This second week we worked more on Scenics and Landscapes as the park is starting to fill up and we'd rather not compete with everyone on vacation who only has a few days to try and see as many animals as possible. The animals we did see were great and the Big Ram is one of our favorite subjects.

If you were to purchase any of these images, the watermark would not be on the print. This is one of our main sources of income and is what keeps us on the road. Feel free to ask if you'd like any specific images converted into Black & White or customized for you.

Yellowstone National Park - Week 3 June 2009 : Spending the Season in Yellowstone, we figured it would be too cumbersome to put all the photos in one gallery, so we're going to feature galleries by the week.

This thrid week showed us some very cool animals and I do need to let you know that the bears and wolves were not seen in the park. We ventured to West Yellowstone where we visited the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.

This educational center is filled with great info on the wildlife that roams the Yellowstone area and allows you to get up-close and personal with a few rescued animals.

If you were to purchase any of these images, the watermark would not be on the print. This is one of our main sources of income and is what keeps us on the road. Feel free to ask if you'd like any specific images converted into Black & White or customized for you.

Yellowstone National Park, Week 6 August - 2009 : After a month away from the park, covering the Cheyenne Frontier Days in the South Eastern section of Wyoming, then heading up to Sturgis in South Dakota, we came back for the fall season to see the animals in all their glory.

Yellowstone is like no other place in the United States, with the abundance of wildlife at your beck and call, it's a photographers paradise

Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming : How do you visit Yellowstone, the oldest and one of the largest National Parks in America.

We only had a few days to visit due to family issues back in Michigan, but it was enough to let us know this is one of the most amazing places on Earth!

Walking through the Geyser fields with bubbling cauldrons of steaming water all around you, snow capped mountains off in the distance and herds of Buffalo grazing in the open fields, you have to keep pinching yourself to make sure you're not dreaming.

I couldnt recommend this park in any other way than to say that not experiencing it in your life is a sin!

The weather is getting cooler, the elk have been bugling for a few weeks now and the animals are starting to come back down out of the higher elevations.

It wont be long before the snow is on the ground and we're some place warm!

Yellowstone National Park - Week 8 - 2009 : This past week has been one of the best we've had all season long.

Hiked an 18 mile hike in one day, got our first shots of a bull moose since we've been in the park and have been just enjoying every second of the fall rut!

This is the best time of year to visit the park in our minds! Comfortable temps, the animals on the move and almost constant sightings

If you were to purchase any of these images, the watermark would not be on the print.

Arnica Fire - Yellowstone National Park -9-2009 : The Arnica Fire burning currently in Yellowstone National Park was said to have started by Lightening and the rangers are monitoring it closely. due to its amazing size and smoke plumes its giving off

This is said to have only been 10 acres worth of fire at the time we started taking these photos a few days ago. It is now over 9000 acres and has the road from West Thumb to Fishing Bridge closed down. They have over 100 forest fire fighters and 5 helicopters working the fire. I can only imagine how bad it must have looked from the 1988 fires when a 3rd of the park burned.
